ECC Geldzählmaschinen – Counting technology from Buchen

ECC Gehrig is a family-owned company based in Buchen (Odenwald) that manufactures coin counting machines and coin sorters in Germany. The devices count and sort euro coins in a single pass, without pre-sorting, using multi-stop technology for precise filling into bank bags or coin rolls. The fastest machine, the ECC3000, achieves up to 3,000 coins per minute; the Q12 high-performance coin counting machine up to 4,000 coins per minute. In addition to its own products, ECC distributes banknote counting machines, banknote sorters and authenticity checkers from the brands Kisan and Laurel. Stainless steel, aluminium and hardened steel are used for the components of the coin counters; many parts are manufactured in-house on CNC machines. The devices are used, among other things, in the tobacco industry, the gaming machine industry, by public authorities, municipal utilities, multi-storey car parks, car washes and banks.
