About the ECE-Coloskopie Center
ECE-Coloskopie Center Erlangen is an interdisciplinary center of excellence for gastroscopy and colonoscopy, colorectal cancer screening and tumor follow-up care for private patients and self-payers. Its range of services includes screening colonoscopy, gastroscopy, polyp removal and tissue sampling, proctological treatments and a tumor follow-up program; in male patients, colonoscopy is combined with prostate screening (ultrasound plus PSA value). The center evolved from ECE-Training GmbH, founded in 1998, a spin-off of the Surgical University Hospital Erlangen with over 20 years of experience in endoscopy training workshops. For greater safety and precision in diagnosis, the center uses the computer-based lesion detection system CAD EYE (artificial intelligence) and the in-house developed, approved medical device EndoDrive system, which enables precise endoscope movement and millimeter-accurate targeting during tissue sampling. The ECE-Healthcare concept is also offered to affiliated centers via the ECE-Healthcare platform. The location is the private medical practice at Nürnberger Straße 71 in Erlangen.
