Eckbank-Center Bieri GmbH is a Swiss family business with over 20 years of experience in furniture manufacturing and has, with immediate effect, acquired all rights and inventory of the sitzplatz.ch brand. The company manufactures tables, chairs, coffee tables, benches, corner bench sets and sideboards to the exact centimetre according to customer specifications. Production takes place with partner companies in Central Switzerland: the Schreinerei Schürpf carpentry in Seewen produces all raw parts with modern woodworking machinery, while Heinz Berger AG in Oftringen produces the upholstered parts. Solid wood species such as beech, steamed beech, oak, maple, cherry and walnut from near-natural production, mainly from Switzerland and Europe, are used, supplemented by ceramics, HPL resin, decorative panels, glass, leather, faux leather and fabrics. Surfaces are oiled or treated with two-component polyurethane multi-layer lacquers on an acrylic resin base in matt or gloss, including custom colour mixing to customer requirements. Distribution is via the exhibition centre in Cham as well as selected specialised retailers in Switzerland.
