About Ecogreen Oleochemicals
Ecogreen Oleochemicals is one of the world's leading manufacturers of natural fatty alcohols and operates production sites in Indonesia (Batam), Singapore (Jurong Island), Germany (Dessau-Roßlau) and France (Saint Pierre Les Elbeuf). In Batam, saturated fatty alcohols in various cuts (C8 to C18), unsaturated fatty alcohols (oleyl alcohols), oleic acid, refined glycerin and specialty esters such as Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are produced. The ethoxylation plant EMPL, founded in 1988 in Singapore, produces fatty alcohol ethoxylates. The German subsidiary DHW Deutsche Hydrierwerke GmbH Rodleben, founded in 1916 and the world's first manufacturer of natural fatty alcohols since the early 1930s, produces unsaturated and branched saturated fatty alcohols, fatty acids, fatty esters, fatty amines and sorbitol powder. E&S Chimie in France produces ethoxylates, ester sulfates and fatty alcohol sulfates. Around 1,000 employees worldwide supply industries such as household and cleaning products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, lubricants and animal feed; sales offices are located in Singapore, Germany and the USA.
