About ECOM Trading
Founded in 1992 by Gerhard Ellinger, ECOM Electronic Components Trading GmbH is an IT hardware wholesaler (distributor) for PC components, complete systems, peripherals and accessories. The company supplies more than 12,000 business customers across Europe, including resellers, system houses, retailers, etailers and assemblers. From its logistics center in Dachau with 10,000 m² of warehouse space, over 5.7 million items are shipped annually in around 117,000 consignments with a total weight of approximately 3,400 tonnes, mostly within 24 hours in the core markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The product range includes CPUs, mainboards, graphics cards, RAM, hard disks and SSDs, power supplies, cases, cooling, drives, notebooks, monitors, networking technology and software. In addition, ECOM distributes its own brands CAPTIVA and NEXOC and offers fulfillment, neutral drop shipping to end customers, EDI integration, RMA/warranty processing and PC/notebook repair in its own service center. Around 180 employees at the Dachau, Eging am See and Taipeh (Taiwan) locations speak more than 14 languages.
