Econ Marine

About Econ Marine

Econ Marine operates a marina with an event venue on the Bille in Hamburg. The site goes back to a shipyard founded in 1973, from whose passion for shipbuilding today's family business emerged. After taking over the site, the company initially ran a marina operation, sold boats and built houseboats and floating houses. Under the next generation, the concept changed: today no ships are built; instead, comfortably furnished houseboats, boats requiring no license (without permit) and an event hall are rented out. The Alte Tischlerei (Old Joinery) offers 100 m² of space on two levels for up to 40 guests – according to metadata up to 100 guests – for corporate celebrations, workshops and private parties, usable year-round with heating and air conditioning. In addition, a Chill & Grill Area, overnight stays in houseboats and a location around a quarter of an hour from Hamburg city center as well as near the A1 motorway and expressway 5 are available.
