About Econova
Econova GmbH, headquartered in Bochum, develops and sells recuperative burner systems for energy-intensive industry. Since its founding in 2017, the focus has been on energy-saving burners with the patented Mach1-ALLGAS technology, which, according to the company, enables efficiency gains of up to 20 percent compared to the competition while simultaneously reducing NOX and CO emissions. The product family comprises the e-nova, e-nova+ and Etanova burner series; the e-Nova burner is designed for operation with green hydrogen. Thanks to a modular design principle, the systems can be adapted to changing regulatory requirements and energy sources; maintenance work such as replacing flame tubes or ignition electrodes can be carried out easily thanks to the modular system. The portfolio is complemented by its own combustion laboratory, in which up to 500 measurement data points can be recorded and analyzed simultaneously using the DASYLab data acquisition software, as well as by the Econova Akademie with combustion technology seminars in small groups including laboratory exercises on real burners. According to the company, around 3,000 burners have been delivered to date and are in operation on four continents.
