About us

ECOTRII GmbH is a young startup from Stuttgart focused on sustainable greening solutions for urban spaces. The core product is the ecotrii climate umbrella, specially developed for urban spaces: it provides shade, reduces heat in cities, improves the microclimate, promotes CO₂ compensation and contributes to biodiversity. The system combines sustainable greening with automatic irrigation via a moisture sensor as well as app-based real-time monitoring. The modular design with recyclable materials and interchangeable parts is designed for circular economy and longevity. Production takes place regionally in cooperation with local companies and craft businesses; the prototype was developed after two years of development, funded by the Stuttgart Climate Innovation Fund. Target groups are cities and municipalities, urban planners and architects, building owners and companies as well as gastronomy and events.
