ECOVACS Robotics is a technology company founded in 1998 by Qian Dongqi and headquartered in Suzhou (China), specializing in the development and manufacture of household and service robots. Founded in 1998 as TEK Electrical Company, initially as an OEM manufacturer of vacuum cleaners, the ECOVACS ROBOTICS brand was launched in 2006; in 2007 the first DEEBOT series robotic vacuum followed. Today the portfolio includes the product brands DEEBOT (floor cleaning), WINBOT (window cleaning), GOAT (lawn mowing robots), ULTRAMARINE (pool cleaning) and FAMIBOT. The company has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2018, holds approximately 2,500 global patents according to its own statements, and distributes its products in over 180 countries and regions. In addition to its headquarters in Suzhou, ECOVACS maintains offices in Germany (Neuss, Düsseldorf), the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, and since 2023 an APAC regional headquarters in Singapore.
