Company

ECT-KEMA GmbH, based in Markersdorf near Görlitz, develops, designs, builds and supplies machines and systems for preparation, dosing, forming and handling of ceramic and similar plastic masses. The product range includes medium- and high-pressure vacuum extruders (screw diameters 250 to 950 mm), pelletizers, piston presses, feeders, milling and crushing systems, cut-off machines as well as vertical lathes for forming ceramic insulators. In addition, the company manufactures extrusion tools such as pressure heads and dies, including honeycomb tools up to 650 CPSI, made from tool steels, stainless steel, hard metal, ceramics and plastics. An in-house technical centre offers feasibility tests, rheological characterisation and extruder simulations. Customers are found in the chemical industry, electro-ceramics, the building materials, automotive, environmental and recycling industries as well as the tool, agricultural and metallurgical industries; deliveries are made worldwide.
