About Ed. Fitscher
Ed. Fitscher GmbH & Co. KG Metall- und Eisengießerei Maschinenfabrik in Oberhausen specializes in the manufacture of products made of copper casting alloys using the centrifugal casting (GZ) and continuous casting (GC) processes, supplemented by gravity die casting as well as a GC Best special continuous casting process. Copper-zinc, copper-aluminium, copper-tin and copper-tin-lead alloys are processed. An essential feature of production is the attached machine shop, in which pre-turned or ready-to-install products are manufactured by turning, milling, grinding and CNC machining. The range of services is complemented by the assembly of machine and equipment parts as well as an in-house materials testing facility with destructive, non-destructive and metallographic testing methods. Customer industries include mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, the smelting and semi-finished products industry, foundries as well as steel and light metal construction. The company operates two sites in Oberhausen: the headquarters with foundry and melting shop on Paul-Reusch-Straße and a machining site on Parallelstraße.
