About EDELIG
EDELIG is a brand for high-quality writing instruments (DeskPens), developed by Sergej Rib, mechanical engineer and founder. The main product is the stationary desk pen V4INK, whose design is inspired by an intake valve from engine construction. The components are made from solid stainless steel (surgical steel), with no plastics or adhesives used. The turned components are produced by external CNC manufacturing partners in Germany; the surfaces are refined with PVD or DLC coating. The resting surface can be personalized in color via UV direct printing (logos, graphics, images). Small-series production takes place in Germany with continuous quality control. Target groups are engineers, architects, entrepreneurs, physicians, lawyers and designers.

History
After graduating, the founder worked as a design engineer for engine accessories and peripheral devices, later as project manager and technical key account manager.
Development of the 'Number 1' fountain pen with minimalist design and a large personalization area as the foundation of the EDELIG brand.
Idea for the valve-shaped writing instrument during a project meeting with the CNC manufacturer; after four development cycles the DeskPen V4INK was created and the EDELIG brand was founded.
