Edelweiss Industrielacke Lutzenberger GmbH, based in Kaufbeuren, is a specialist company for industrial paints and coating systems. Since 1930, the company has advised, produced and distributed paint systems for the metal industry, art foundries, high-vacuum technology, the jewellery and watch industry, musical instrument manufacturers as well as embossing and engraving businesses. The product range comprises more than 32 colourless base paints with different properties and fields of application, colourless metal protection paints (Pantarol), automotive paint shades according to Nexa Autocolor formulations from 100 g, and the cold enamel substitute Rengomail based on a 2-component epoxy resin. The range is complemented by grinding and polishing agents (Uron, OTS) for the surface treatment of cast parts as well as chemicals and solvents for substrate preparation. Colour matching is performed by spectral measurement or according to standardised systems such as RAL, Pantone and NCS; sample pieces are tested and processed in the in-house colour laboratory. Together with the partner Mäder-Germany GmbH, production quantities from 1 litre to 1,000 litres are realised; the company organises the shipping of its predominantly dangerous-goods-regulated range itself.
