Eder Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned company based in Friedberg near Augsburg and has been active in mechanical metalworking for over 20 years. It manufactures precise milled, turned, welded and cast parts as well as complete assemblies and systems – from one-off production to series production. The range of services includes CNC machining in 3-, 4- and 5-axis configurations, XXL machining on a boring mill with up to 10 m machining length, flame cutting of steel sheets up to 120 mm thick, sheet metal working, welding according to DIN EN ISO 3834-2 and EN 1090 (EXC2), surface treatment, black oxidizing, painting, 3D printing (FDM) as well as pre-assembly and final assembly. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, copper, brass and plastics. Around 40 employees work on over 1600 m² of production floor space with a modern machine fleet of more than 10 CNC milling machines, lathes and grinding machines. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, industry and the trades; in addition, the company offers CAD design, welding engineering expert services and consulting for production and technology.

Every workpiece is inspected several times during the manufacturing process; measuring and testing equipment is subject to continuous monitoring. Quality assurance includes raw material inspection, production-accompanying checks and 100 percent final inspection.
