Edgar Mesam GmbH is a building services company based in Weilheim-Bannholz (Waldshut district, southern Baden). Founded in 1953 by Egon and Marga Mesam, the company was taken over in 1983 by Edgar Mesam, Dipl. Ing. (FH) in supply engineering, and has since been expanded into ecological heating and solar technology. The range of services includes consulting and planning, installation, delivery and maintenance of heating and plumbing systems, including combined heat and power units (CHP, e.g. SenerTec Dachs), heat pumps, biomass and gas condensing boilers, controlled ventilation, wall and underfloor heating as well as photovoltaics and solar thermal. In the plumbing sector, the company carries out bathroom installations, pre-wall installations, and rainwater and greywater utilisation. A 24-hour emergency service is available 365 days a year. The team comprises around 12 employees, including seven long-serving skilled workers and one apprentice. The company serves new construction and renovation in the regional environment of southern Baden and advises on subsidies for renewable energies.
