EDGE - The Precision Blanks Company GmbH has specialized since 2011 in the manufacturing of sheet metal blanks with milled cut edges. The company's own coil center in Neustadt in Holstein offers 12,000 sqm of heated storage and production space for the storage, logistics and processing of aluminum, stainless steel and steel coils. The core process is High-Speed Cutting (HSC milling) of sheet metal blanks, in which the company continuously develops processes, tools and machine parameters according to its own information – with a focus on milling speed, edge properties and innovative milling methods. The blanks are aimed primarily at the automotive industry, in particular press shops and applications related to battery systems in body engineering. With laser-cut QR codes on the blanks (EDGE Signature Blanks), the company digitizes material data and enables traceability of batch, stack or individual blank. The company is registered as a GmbH in the commercial register of the Lübeck Local Court (HRB 7446 HL), employs 11 to 50 staff in 3-shift operation and is active in exports.
