About Edinger & Sohn

Edinger & Sohn GmbH is a mechanical engineering company based in Merzig in the Saarland, founded in 1989 and now run by the second generation. The company manufactures custom precision parts using CNC machining: CNC turning, CNC milling and turn-mill machining on multifunction machines in multi-axis operation, complemented by laser marking with a YVO4 hybrid laser. Production ranges from one-off parts and prototypes through robot-integrated small series to medium-sized series. Design and programming are carried out in-house using CAD/CAM; tool presetting and in-house measuring machines ensure quality throughout the entire production process. The manufactured parts and components supply industries such as mechanical and tool engineering, the automotive industry, aerospace, shipping, the food and pharmaceutical industries, environmental technology, research and the bicycle industry. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
