About EEG Elements Energy
EEG Elements Energy GmbH was founded in 2018 in Dobl-Zwaring in Styria with the goal of making large-scale energy storage affordable. The company develops, produces, assembles and services integrated energy systems under its own responsibility along the entire value chain. The core product is the JOHANN X3 platform with three product lines: X3 Battery (modular LiFePO₄ battery storage, 45/90 kVA, 94.47–188.94 kWh usable, expandable in 2-module steps), X3 Calor (battery storage with integrated R290 air-to-water heat pump, 16/32 kW) and X3 Hydrogen (electrolyzer plus fuel cell for seasonal long-term storage, pilot from Q4 2026). A central controller coordinates electricity, heat and cooling; all systems can be monitored remotely via Modbus TCP. Fields of application include retail chains, logistics, hospitality, critical infrastructure, the public sector, manufacturing companies as well as agricultural and residential properties – with more than 150 realized projects in Austria.
