About EEP

EEP Elektro-Elektronik Pranjic GmbH is a mid-sized company for automation and control technology with a focus on mining technology. Founded in 1989 in Herne and headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, the company develops and manufactures fully automatic electro-hydraulic longwall control systems (PRA_matic®) for underground hard coal mining as well as the associated hydraulics portfolio, intrinsically safe PLC systems, control panels and industrial PCs for extreme operating conditions. In addition, EEP supplies data transmission and fieldbus systems, SCADA and 3D visualization solutions as well as the longwall monitoring system MineVis®, and performs repair and maintenance of electro-hydraulic control systems. The intrinsically safe PLC system is used, among other applications, in plough and shearer controls, conveyor controls, pump and filter stations, and in underground safety technology. More than 70 fully automatic EEP longwall control systems are in operation in mines in China, Germany, Poland, Russia and Ukraine; international locations and representations exist in the USA, China, Russia and Turkey.
