About efa GmbH
The efa GmbH is a system partner specialising in electrical, electronic and electromechanical components, assemblies and accessories, based in Berlin-Charlottenburg. At its own production facility in Hohen Neuendorf, the company manufactures control panels, cable harnesses, control elements and control consoles as well as its own aluminium die-cast enclosure efabox, which is customised, configured and finished (drilling, thread cutting, installation of cable glands, pre-assembly). In addition, customer-specific aluminium and zinc die-cast parts can be produced. In terms of materials, efa works with aluminium, zinc and brass (including silver-plated switch contacts in the IP68 contact block). The processes include, alongside die casting and pre-assembly, cable assembly and the development of tailored control solutions for electric vehicles. As an integration partner to industry and a distributor with a worldwide sourcing network, efa supplies industries such as mechanical engineering, plant construction, vehicle manufacturing, electric vehicles, construction machinery and automation. Founding of the sole proprietorship efa in Germany with a focus on trading parts for height access technology.
- 2003
Conversion/founding of efa GmbH (December).

Founding of efa SARL based in Fondettes (Tours, France); relocation of efa GmbH to Mollwitzstraße, Berlin-Charlottenburg.
