About EFFECTO
EFFECTO is a manufacturer of end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and clamping technology for industrial robotics. The product portfolio includes automatic tool changers (XCHANGE®/Epsilon), collision sensors (QuickSTOP®) with response times down to 2 ms, pneumatic and electric grippers, palletizing grippers as well as self-centering vises with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical actuation in 2-jaw and 3-jaw versions. The company traces back to Tecnomors, founded in Italy in 1967, which initially manufactured vises and indexing chucks, and to Applied Robotics (1983), the inventor of the first robotic tool changer. Since 2016 the group has been organized as Effecto Group S.p.A., and since 2025 globally under the name EFFECTO. Production and engineering services (application consulting, product selection, custom design) are available at sites in Glenville (New York, USA), San Maurizio d'Opaglio (Italy) and Gröbenzell near Munich (Germany, Effecto GmbH, responsible for DACH and Türkiye). Target industries include the automotive industry, mechanical engineering/CNC machining, sheet metal working, palletizing and packaging, agriculture as well as general industry.
