About Efficient Robotics

Efficient Robotics GmbH was founded in 2012 and develops, produces and distributes automated microfluidic systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical industries. Its core product is the NTP (Nano-Titer-Pipe) Screening Workstation, a fully automated microfluidic workstation for ultrahigh-throughput screening of up to 10 million samples per 24 hours. The platform is used for screening and optimization of microbial strains, mammalian cell lines, enzymes, proteins and peptides. Droplets are actively generated with pressure and valve control and incubated as miniaturized reaction vessels under stable, identical conditions; assays can be added in 50–100 % of the sample volume. Detection is performed via highly sensitive fluorescence intensity (picomolar detection limit), fluorescence anisotropy, bioluminescence or light scattering, followed by automated hit selection and sorting. The Droplet Control Center software controls the processes and analyzes data in real time. The company is headquartered in Kornwestheim in the Stuttgart region and operates according to a DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.
