EGA Elektrotechnik GmbH is a family-owned and owner-managed company based in Dannstadt-Schauernheim. Founded in 1970 in Erfelden near Darmstadt, the company manufactures switchgear and control systems, control cabinets, low-voltage distribution boards, automation systems, control panels as well as energy distribution boards and small distribution boards – including assembly, wiring and testing in its own production facility. The service portfolio also includes engineering and project planning of electrical systems (basic and detail engineering, CAD/CAE with AutoCAD and E-Plan P8), industrial assembly and electrical installations, a mechanical workshop with TÜV-certified fitters, analysis measurement technology, and software development for automation. The mechanical workshop produces special flanges, blank flanges, sample cooling units and piping for process gas analysis from plastics and metals. More than 14 employees handle projects on approx. 2700 m² of production and warehouse space, from planning through manufacturing and assembly to commissioning, maintenance and servicing. Customers come from plant and mechanical engineering, power plant technology, chemical plant construction, automation technology as well as analysis and measurement technology; shipping also takes place abroad including overseas.
