Sensor technology from in-house production since 1976

EGE-Elektronik Spezial-Sensoren GmbH has been developing and manufacturing high-precision measurement systems and sensors for industrial requirements at its site in Gettorf, Schleswig-Holstein, since 1976. The portfolio includes flow and flow-rate sensors based on the thermodynamic principle, air flow monitors, compressed air consumption meters, level sensors based on all common measuring principles (capacitive, microwave-based, optical, conductive and ultrasonic), inductive and capacitive proximity switches, infrared detectors, pressure and temperature sensors, ultrasonic sensors as well as metal detectors for use in quarries and building materials production. With around 130 employees and a high level of vertical integration in a family-owned company, standard products are adapted to application-specific challenges, including extreme temperature ranges, high mechanical loads, aggressive media and hazardous areas (Ex sensors according to ATEX). Sensor technology with IO-Link interface (IEC 61131-9) complements the range. Customers include, among others, metal processing, automotive/welding technology, chemicals, food and animal feed industry as well as the quarry and building materials industry. Sales offices throughout Germany plus representatives in Europe and worldwide ensure customer support.
