Egenter Betonfertigteilwerk GmbH from Freiburg im Breisgau manufactures precast concrete elements for industrial and commercial construction, residential and administrative buildings, as well as garden and landscaping construction. The company has been active in the construction business since 1904 and has specialized in precast concrete for over 45 years. At its own precast plant in Freiburg, standard products such as the Egenter concrete bollard, structural components for above-ground and civil engineering, and custom-made products according to customer requirements are produced. The concretes are produced in-house up to strength class C50/60 and are subject to quality monitoring in accordance with DIN EN 206-1 and DIN 1045-2. The operation includes its own installation crew, which also installs the precast elements on the construction site. Thanks to its location in the tri-border area of Germany–France–Switzerland, the company operates nationwide as well as internationally in the border region.
