About Eggenhof

The Eggenhof is an organic mountain farm in Reith im Alpbachtal in Tyrol, which has existed in its present form since 1635 and has been farmed by the Gschösser family since 1845. Since 1995 the farm has been certified as a verified and recognised organic farm (inspection body AT-BIO-401). Products include freeze-dried fruits and vegetables – including freeze-dried strawberries and a 7-fruit mix – fine brandies such as Williams pear, rowanberry and apple brandy, cakes in jars as well as cookbooks. The products are sold via the farm's own online shop; in addition, the farm offers corporate gifts from Tyrol for employees and customers as well as seasonal cooking and baking seminars, especially on the topic of bread baking. Production follows the Eggenhof philosophy: regional, seasonal and organic, without artificial additives. The family business combines traditional agriculture with modern product development and direct marketing.
