About Eggersmann Recycling Technology
Eggersmann GmbH, based in Halle (Westf.), acts as a general contractor for the realization of recycling plants of any scale: from planning through procurement, assembly and commissioning to digital process optimization. The group of companies manufactures mobile recycling machines for shredding, screening, turning, crushing and sorting, as well as stationary machines for opening, dosing, mixing and sorting under the brands FORUS, TEUTON, TERRA SELECT, BACKHUS, ROKTEC and BRT HARTNER. The plants treat lightweight packaging and plastics, commercial and household waste, paper/cardboard/cartons, waste wood, biowaste as well as bottom ash and waste-to-energy (WtE) slag. Using the patented IRRT process, up to 65% of fresh slag is recovered as certified aggregates (UltraLit), recycled glass (UltraSilit) and metals. Biological processes include tunnel and membrane composting, membrane drying and dry fermentation for biomethane production (BEKON). The company has implemented reference projects in, among other places, Denmark, Poland, the United Kingdom, Dubai and Singapore.
