About Sommer Maschinenbau
Egon Sommer Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed company founded in 1972 and based in Osnabrück. The company manufactures 2-roller mills for crushing and rolling grain varieties, raw cereals and oilseeds, and markets them under the brands Maltman®, Haferboy®, Grainmaster and Bio-Flockett®. The machines are used, among other things, in grain mills, in horse keeping, in agricultural livestock and poultry farming, in beer brewing and distilling, as well as in bakeries and delicatessen manufacturers. Production takes place entirely at the Osnabrück site; the company has all the competencies required to manufacture the machines. In addition, Sommer offers a high level of service in spare parts supply and general overhauls of machines, including machines that have been in use for decades. The products are sold worldwide.
