About EGU

EGU Elektro Großhandels Union Rhein-Ruhr is a family-owned, mid-sized electrical wholesaler with its central headquarters and central warehouse at Heßlingsweg 44 in Dortmund-Brackel. The company was founded in 1998 by four electrical specialist wholesalers and supplies customers through a network of 37 locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate as well as affiliated houses. EGU offers industrial customers practical procurement solutions, including C-parts management, key account management and e-procurement with interfaces such as OCI/Punchout, BMEcat, EDI/XML and ZUGFeRD/XRechnung. Around 180,000 items are available in the virtual warehouse; three million active product data records from more than 3,000 suppliers are maintained.
