About Eguana Technologies

Eguana Technologies has been developing and manufacturing energy storage systems for residential and commercial properties since 1998. The product portfolio includes AC-coupled, cobalt-free battery storage systems (Evolve), the cloud-based fleet management platform Eguana Cloud, and the Edge™ software for virtual power plants (VPP). The systems consist of a battery, power control system and energy management system, and are aggregated into virtual power plants through programs with utilities such as Portland General Electric, Nova Scotia Power, Green Mountain Power and BC Hydro. Eguana does not manufacture battery cells itself, but integrates components from leading global cell suppliers – over time, virtually all battery types from lead-acid to vanadium redox flow have been integrated. Manufacturing takes place in local facilities in multiple markets to ensure compliance and quality of the standardized platform. Customer groups include utilities, installers and end customers in North America, Australia and Germany.
