About us
Ehlers GmbH is a third-generation family company based in Mittenaar-Ballersbach (Hesse). Its focus is the milling of components for tool and mould making. Based on 3D data in all common formats, roughing and finishing operations with 3 to 5 axes are produced using modern CAD/CAM systems (including Autodesk Powermill, NCG CAM, Vector CAD/CAM, RhinoCAD). A further field of activity is the machining of large-format plates for equipment in tool, mould and model making. The production facility comprises five machining centres with travel distances up to 2020 mm and table loads up to 3000 kg as well as a surface grinding machine. Hardnesses above 60 HRC and tolerances of ±10 µm on the component are reliably mastered. Customers come from the tool making, mould making, model making and mechanical engineering industries.
