About EHP Wägetechnik
EHP Wägetechnik GmbH, headquartered in Bühl (Baden-Württemberg), develops and manufactures electronic crane scales, load cells, force transducers and systems for wireless weight data transmission. Founded in 1979, the company was initially active in the field of machine and plant control systems and, in 1986, became the first company worldwide to design a type-approved digital crane scale, initially for use in foundries at temperatures up to 1,600 °C. Research, software and hardware development, engineering and production all take place entirely in-house in Germany. The portfolio includes crane scales up to 200 tonnes, load cells with rated loads up to 100,000 kg per unit and accuracy up to 0.03 %, as well as tension link shackles, mobile heavy-duty scales and radio data transmission systems. Over 25,000 EHP crane scales are in use worldwide, including in Airbus production, in foundries, in steel trading, in the chemical and recycling industries as well as in mechanical and special machinery engineering. All scales are inspected and verified or calibrated on in-house test rigs before delivery.
