About the Sawmill
EHRL Sägewerk GmbH in Breitenbrunn in the Upper Palatinate is a family-run, medium-sized sawmill in its fourth generation with roots dating back to 1891. The company processes around 40,000 fm of round timber per year from sustainably managed domestic forests, sourced from regional forest farmers and the Bavarian State Forests within a radius of approximately 50 km. Products include construction timber for carpentry and timber construction businesses, packaging wood – also in special lengths – as well as battens and boards made from spruce, fir and pine in various dimensions. High-tech production facilities, a drying chamber for technical drying and equipment for IPPC treatment according to ISPM 15 complement the manufacturing process. A round timber yard with around 5,000 m³ directly at the sawmill enables short-notice deliveries, including special dimensions. Main customers are carpentries, timber construction businesses and industrial customers in the region.
