About Eichenwald Weine

Eichenwald Weine eGen is a registered cooperative based in Horitschon in Central Burgenland, Austria (Mittelburgenland wine-growing region). The company farms an area of approx. 400 ha with vineyards at the sites of Horitschon, Unterpetersdorf, Raiding, Deutschkreutz, Haschendorf, Lutzmannsburg, Strebersdorf and Großwarasdorf. The annual production volume is approx. 3 million litres of wine; the variety spectrum comprises approx. 60% Blaufränkisch, 20% Blauer Zweigelt, 8% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% white wine varieties (Grüner Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc). The wines are marketed in the Klassik, Premium and Reserve lines, among others via an online shop with shipping by post, parcel service or freight forwarder. At the winery in the Ried Gfanger as well as the cellar in Günser Straße, tastings, cellar tours and an event location for corporate events, conferences and private celebrations are also offered.
