Eifeler Plasma Beschichtungs GmbH has been an Austrian provider of high-tech hard coatings since 1993. From its site in northern Vienna (1,250 m² of production space), the company applies PVD and DLC coatings to tools, components and parts with 25 employees – for customers throughout Austria and the eastern neighbouring countries. The process spectrum includes PVD coating via arc evaporation on the company's own Eifeler systems, low-temperature coating (approx. 250–350 °C), DLC and Ta:C coatings below 200 °C as well as the DUPLEX process, which combines thermochemical plasma nitriding and PVD coating in a single work cycle. Coated materials include high-speed steels, hot-work, cold-work and tempered steels, stainless steels, cemented carbides and cermets. In addition, the TECH+ service offers in-house pre- and post-treatments such as decoating, deburring, blasting, polishing, edge preparation and superfinish. The broad portfolio of standard coatings and custom coating solutions serves, among others, toolmaking, mould making, mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, the plastics industry, and medical and food technology.
