About Eifelimbiss
Eifelimbiss mobile Verkaufssysteme GmbH is a family business based in Brimingen (South Eifel) specialising in the construction, new-build and conversion of snack vans, sales trailers, food trucks and food containers. Since 2019 the company has produced its own series range Buddy Star (sizes S, M, L, Retro Buddy, Silver Buddy) and is a pan-European manufacturer with 100 to 150 units per year. The vehicles are built in the company's own service workshop in the Auf Herrel industrial estate: conversions and installations, interior fittings with kitchen appliances, refrigerators, hotplates, grills and sinks are implemented with commercial kitchen equipment manufacturers; frames are fully galvanised or preserved and painted, axles and wheels come from German manufacturers with TÜV NORD acceptance. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers rental of sales vehicles and snack vans, warehouse and hall space, large-scale kitchen technology, repairs to commercial kitchen equipment as well as purchase and sale of catering equipment. Customers come from mobile catering, street food, direct marketing, events and retail, among others in Germany, Luxembourg and Denmark.

History
- 1999
Founded by Hans-Jürgen Koch in Utscheid; purchase and sale of catering equipment and mobile sales systems including rental in the Eifel district.
- 2007
Relocation to the Auf Herrel industrial estate, Brimingen, to a purchased former US Air Force site of approx. 25 ha.
- 2010
Stefan Koch joins the family business; diversification of business areas.
- 2015
Expansion to include rental of sales vehicles.
- 2016
Stefan Koch becomes managing director jointly with his father.

Start of production of Buddy Star sales vehicles as a pan-European manufacturer with 100–150 units per year.
