Eighth Dimension GmbH develops Hyphae, a hardware-independent AI software ecosystem that makes off-the-shelf drones more autonomous and swarm-capable. The company does not manufacture drones but delivers the intelligence layer for heterogeneous fleets: the Agent module captures video and telemetry on board and streams it encrypted, the Titan module provides a self-healing, jamming-resistant radio mesh, and the Queen orchestration layer processes thousands of parallel data streams in the cloud, on edge, or as a mobile node. These are complemented by a browser-based command dashboard (VectorX) and real-time computer vision with zero-shot detection, tracking, thermal imaging and 3D mapping (8D-Sense). By decoupling intelligence from the airframe, existing fleets can be transformed into cooperative, fault-tolerant autonomous systems without hardware redesign. Fields of application include defence and force protection, border, port and customs security, critical infrastructure, public safety, robotics and OEM integration. The startup, founded in 2025 and headquartered in Neubiberg near Munich, is incubated in ESA BIC Bavaria.
