About EIKBOOM

EIKBOOM GmbH is a family-owned system supplier of glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) components based in Rostock. The company develops and manufactures GRP components from design with CAD modeling and FEM calculation, through in-house toolmaking and prototyping, to series production of even large-volume components. The processes include hand lay-up and vacuum injection (RTM), complemented by CNC-supported component machining, robot-assisted painting, and surface finishing such as gelcoat, conductive or anti-slip coatings. In final assembly, steel and aluminum profiles, wiring, hatches, covers and insulation materials are installed. The components are used, among other applications, in wind power, in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, in boat and shipbuilding, in rail vehicle construction, in aviation, as well as in architecture and leisure. Production takes place in Rostock-Hinrichsdorf; in 2024, 82 percent of annual production was manufactured using low-emission vacuum processes.
