About einzigNaht

einzigNaht manufactures custom functional clothing for children with disabilities and health conditions in a sewing atelier in Hamburg. Production is done handmade in Germany from organic wool-silk jersey, whose properties are suitable for the sensitive skin of the children; the fabrics are sourced from Germany. The garments – individually or as a set including a bodysuit, trousers, sweater, and jacket – are precisely adapted to the needs of the child, such as for feeding tubes, ostomies, ports, or other body openings, and are intended to support care and assistance. The basis of creation is an individual measurement using a form and customer consultation. The company was founded from the experience of the founding family, whose child suffers from Williams syndrome, and works on the employment of people with disabilities. Through the non-profit association einzigArtige Inklusion e.V., sewing sponsorships are mediated.
