About us
Eisenschmid GmbH operates a gravel plant in Moosach (district of Freising) founded in 1961, which was later expanded into a washing and crushing plant. The company extracts and refines gravel and sand into products such as screed sand 0/8 mm, bedding sand 0/5 mm, masonry, mortar and plaster sand 0/4 mm, crushed and crushed-grit sand, round-grain gravel in various grain sizes, pit and road gravel, concrete gravel, chippings, cobble stones, hydraulic engineering stones up to 400/600 mm, mineral concrete 0/16 mm, concrete rubble RC 0/22 as well as massive concrete blocks in three sizes. In addition, the company accepts excavated soil and construction debris (proof of origin from 20 m³) and offers transport services for construction machinery up to 30 t payload as well as deliveries with its own vehicle fleet. Customers are found in road and path construction, house construction, horticulture, waterway engineering as well as in earthworks and demolition work. Mined areas are renaturalised and recultivated. The company employs 12 staff and is run in the third generation by Siegfried and Thomas Eisenschmid.

Georg Eisenschmid founds the gravel plant, which is later expanded into a washing and crushing plant.
- 1972
After the death of his father, Siegfried Eisenschmid takes over the management of the business at the age of 25.
- 2013
After 41 years, Siegfried Eisenschmid hands over the business to his sons Siegfried and Thomas Eisenschmid.
