EKOF Mining & Water Solution GmbH is a manufacturer based in Bochum specializing in the production of inorganic and organic reagents and solutions. Founded in 1921 by the Franz Gröppel Maschinenfabrik, the company develops and produces chemical products and blends for froth flotation (coal and ore processing) as well as products for water treatment, including conditioning agents, anti-scaling agents and oxygen scavengers such as sulfite, diethylhydroxylamine and ascorbic acid. The in-house flotation and analytical laboratory (AAS, gas chromatography, wet chemistry) supports development, quality control and application consulting.
