ELAPULS GmbH, based in Leonberg, specializes in seals made of elastomers, plastics and metals. The product range includes O-rings to DIN ISO 3601 in metric and inch dimensions (smallest sizes from 0.7 x 0.2 mm), X-rings, V-rings, rotary shaft seals to DIN 3760/3761, cord, flat gaskets, rubber-to-metal buffers, bonded seals, hydraulic and pneumatic seals for pressures up to 400 bar as well as backup rings up to 500 bar. In addition to standard items, the company produces custom-made parts to drawing or sample – covering the entire process from toolmaking coordination and raw material procurement to production and packaging according to customer specifications. Manufacturing processes include punching/die-cutting, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, milling, turning and extrusion. In terms of materials, all common elastomers are available (including NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, silicone, HNBR, PUR) as well as high-performance plastics such as PTFE, PEEK and POM; the proprietary ELA-FFKM compound is resistant to around 1,800 chemicals at temperatures from -45 °C to +350 °C. Customers include the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and food industries as well as hydraulics, pneumatics and vacuum applications.

Quality and certification
All products are tested to strict guidelines for dimensional accuracy of the end product and physical properties of the material; upon request, complete documentation of the testing process is provided. Manufacturing is carried out to DIN and ISO standards as well as numerous customer-specific standards and approvals (including FDA, USP Class VI, DVGW, KTW, WRAS).
