ELASKON Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed medium-sized company founded in 1928 and based in Dresden, which develops, produces and sells specialty lubricants, corrosion protection and care products as well as mould and release agents. Its core competence lies in wire rope lubrication and wire rope preservation (primary and secondary preservation) for rope manufacturers as well as operators of ropeways and elevators. Further product areas are cavity preservation and underbody protection, care products for passenger and commercial vehicles, and release agents for the concrete and ceramics industries. The products are manufactured centrally at the Dresden headquarters in its own facility; product optimisation and new developments take place in its own research and development laboratory. In addition, the company offers a mobile preservation service across Europe, on-site analysis and consulting, training and application systems. ELASKON is a strategic trading partner of ExxonMobil for Mobil brand automotive lubricants and supplies customers in 64 countries.
