About elastometall

For more than 40 years, Elastometall has been a supplier of rubber-metal composites for vibration and oscillation isolation. The company is a development partner and producer of individual solutions in the rubber-metal field, including rubber buffers, rubber-metal rails, machine feet, rubber hollow springs and rubber-metal cone mounts. The value chain includes in-house design, in-house toolmaking, in-house rubber production with vulcanization in Ottersweier, final manufacturing, warehousing and quality management; a large proportion of the products is vulcanized exclusively in Germany. Materials, in addition to rubber (nitrile rubber/NBR, including 60 and 70 Shore A), are steel and stainless steel. Customers come from mechanical engineering, machine tools, press construction, rolling mills, printing and textile machinery, pump construction, automotive engineering, centrifuge and screening technology as well as drive technology. International markets are served through subsidiaries in the USA (elastometall Kentucky LLC) and Ireland (elastometall Ireland Ltd.). In addition to catalogue products, drawing-based special solutions are manufactured.

Elastometall operates its own quality management; the products are manufactured according to DIN EN ISO 9001 (Reg. no. 14436). Shore hardnesses are monitored according to DIN ISO 7619-1 (±5 Shore A) and manufacturing tolerances according to DIN ISO 3302-1/2 class M3/N.
