About Elbers Karniesen
Elbers Karniesen is a family business based in Vienna since 1953 that manufactures curtain systems and sun protection to measure. The company's own Vienna workshop carries out bends, mitre cuts and special lengths on curtain poles, rods and curtain tracks, from the classic wooden cornice made of wood, MDF and hardboard to the motorised electric curtain track made of aluminium with a 24 V motor in fixed lengths up to 900 cm. The product range includes curtain poles and rods, curtain tracks (surface-mounted, recessed, integrated, also curved), electrical systems, panel curtains, pleated blinds, roller blinds, venetian blinds, vertical systems, made-to-measure insect and pollen protection, window films as well as room divider and cubicle profiles. In addition, the company offers measuring, cutting and installation by its own team, complete packages including curtains, and the rental of notch crimping pliers for track assembly. Customers are private and commercial clients, especially hotels, gastronomy and fitness, as well as architects and interior designers throughout Austria and the EU.
