About EWT

ELCHEM Water Treatment (EWT) manufactures electrolysis systems for water treatment in Freigericht-Altenmittlau (Hesse). The membrane electrolysis systems (Type 24 to Type 500) produce highly pure hypochlorous acid on-site from commercially available common salt as a disinfectant, without salting up the pool water. The ECO-a tube-cell electrolysis series (Type 75 to Type 4000, 25 to 4,000 g chlorine/h) produces low-chlorine sodium hypochlorite solution on-site and replaces chlorine gas systems. The portfolio includes wall-mounted systems on stainless steel frames as well as free-standing compact racks with factory-preassembled technology, water softeners, chlorine gas sensor and PLC control (Modbus IP/RS485). Fields of application are private pools and whirlpools, public outdoor, indoor and school swimming pools, therapy pools, hotel/spa, natural swimming ponds, water features, irrigation and greenhouses. Every system is delivered with an EC certificate in accordance with the EU Biocide Regulation; hardware and software updates are backward compatible.
