About ELCO
ELCO GmbH, headquartered in Hechingen (Baden-Württemberg), is a European provider of heating solutions with almost 100 years of experience in residential, commercial and industrial applications. The product portfolio includes air-to-water heat pumps (AEROTOP), gas condensing boilers (THISION, TRIGON) with outputs of 2 to 2,000 kW, oil condensing boilers (STRATON, 13–600 kW), domestic hot water, buffer and combi storage tanks (VISTRON, 80–2,000 litres), solar thermal collectors (AURON 2, SOLATRON M 2.3), oil and gas burners (VECTRON, 11–2,080 kW), CHP units (VARION C-POWER) and apartment transfer stations (ALION, 37–63 kW). Across the entire boiler product range, the patented HEX3 heat exchanger technology made of stainless steel with three combustion zones is used; solar absorbers are manufactured as full-surface copper absorbers with a highly selective coating. A central component is service throughout the entire system life cycle: commissioning, maintenance, repair, system optimisation, water analysis according to VDI 2035, leak testing of heat pumps and remote monitoring via REMOCON NET – with around 300 service employees in Germany and 24/7 availability. Since 2001, ELCO has been part of the Ariston Group. More than 1.7 million installed heating systems in Europe demonstrate the widespread use of the systems.
