ELCODE AG, headquartered in Frauenfeld, is a Swiss company specializing in identification solutions for trade and industry. Founded in 1983 as Ing. Büro Jacob Inauen, the company initially developed, manufactured and serviced its own mobile barcode terminals. Since 1990, ELCODE has distributed DENSO barcode scanners in Switzerland, and since 2005 additionally the products of CipherLab, maintaining its own repair and maintenance department for this purpose.
