About Elcometer
Elcometer Limited develops, manufactures and sells inspection, spray and blast equipment for the coatings, concrete, automotive and non-destructive testing (NDT) industries. Since the manufacture of the first measuring instrument in 1947, the product range has included devices for coating thickness measurement, adhesion testing, porosity testing and concrete testing including metal detection, as well as oven temperature profiling and laboratory test equipment. Since 2018, the company has also offered high-performance blast equipment such as portable blast machines, media valves and air preparation. In the spray equipment field, manual and automatic spray guns, pressure tanks, pneumatic pumps (airless, air-assisted airless, diaphragm pumps) as well as air filtration and heating systems are manufactured, including for protective coatings, marine coatings, epoxy and polyurethane systems. Key products are predominantly built and assembled in the company's own manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA. Distribution is via 11 own subsidiaries and more than 80 distributors in over 170 countries; this includes repair, re-calibration, re-certification, training and the ElcoMaster data management software.

Elcometer has been ISO 9001 registered since May 1994 and is additionally certified to ISO 14001; quality is integrated across all product phases from design to manufacturing. Certificates of Conformance are supplied with every shipment; test equipment and measuring instruments are traceable in accordance with BS, EN, ISO and NIST standards, with a re-calibration and re-certification service (recommended every 12 months).
