elcotec AG is a system house for process automation headquartered in Mölln, Schleswig-Holstein. The company plans, designs and implements automation solutions for production processes and offers IT services, project management and custom software development. Its core product is the modular process management system leo!®, which combines components of a classic process control system such as plant visualization, alarm and event archive, curve recording and batch-oriented recipe control, and can be extended with TeMIS modules for production order management, batch traceability and material balancing. elcotec also carries out retrofits of Siemens SIMATIC S5 systems, re-engineering of existing plants, PLC and visualization programming, commissioning and connections to MES and ERP systems such as SAP. Projects go through defined performance phases with FAT (simulated plant test) and SAT including I&C component verification (IO check) as well as production support up to final acceptance. After acceptance, elcotec remains the point of contact for fault elimination and plant optimization.
